From its inception in the early months of two thousand eighteen, Achraf Mzily and Natalie Mahakian have built a practice and team coming from complementary frameworks of architecture and interior design. Bone’s projects are embodied by eliminating the excess and focusing on essential form — we are dedicated to conceiving spaces that elicit a dialogue through architectural gestures, sensorial earthy materiality, and detailing. We begin by rejecting all conventional design stereotypes. Freely exploring, yet methodically studying every theoretical and tangible aspect of design. The approach breaks away from the expected and perceived function, as we aim to design novel spaces that can functionally and aesthetically serve different purposes — reinterpreting the way common spaces are defined.
